Nothing Monumental

Alright, nothing monumental happened today. But still... I have an awesome song of the week for you, my precious readers! This week I listen to Cassius' "Toop Toop." I prefer the Olivier Koleski Mix over the radio mix, by the way.

NEW! Awesome Link of the Week!

I am introducing a new category today: Awesome Link of the Week. In this category I will present my new favorites in the WWW. I try to do this on a regular basis, but it's probably gonna be sporadicly...
This week I wanna call attention to the hilarious site CatsThatLookLikeHitler! Maybe you find the project offensive or distasteful, maybe you find it funny like me. I am looking forward to your comments!

Hunger

Every once in a while, a German girl needs her Schnitzel! Actually, it's an existential and basic right! Yesterday was one of these days.
See our version of a "Jaegerschnitzel" with "Bratkartoffeln" on the right. What do you think? It was so yummy! Best I had in years ;-)

T-Storms

I'm feeling so worn out because I haven't slept much for the past two nights. It was just too hot! So, I figured I could use the time to capture the lightning. Although I used my tripod, it was really hard to get a clean image. Sadly, this is my best shot:

Denver

Hi everyone,

we've been to Denver for a few days, so I couldn't post anything. Hope you're not too disappointed. ;-)
Denver is a great city. There's so much stuff to do and see; five days are far too short. My favorite was a visit to the Denver Nature and Science Museum (dinosaur bones and fossils are always fascinating, don't you think?). My husband went to see Bodyworlds 2. I refused to go with him because although I enjoy marveling at dinosaur remains, it's different with actual human bodies.
On monday we went to Coors Field to see the Rockies loose against the Giants. Well, at least the fireworks were fun to watch.

Take care,
LeKitLe.
