Yesterday the movers came to pack our stuff. But I don't have time to feel sad. I am excited! What will the future bring? :-)

Impressions

Slowly, it's dawning on me that I'm gonna leave New Mexico in just 5 weeks! That's why I take my camera with me whenever I leave the house: To take pictures that will hopefully keep my memory fresh.

as you may have noticed by my previous post my taste in music is "EXTREMELY DIVERSE." ;-)

Awesome Song of the Week

I downloaded iTunes' song of the week, and I really enjoy it. It's by the British band The Feeling. The song's called "Sewn." Just go to their myspace website where you can listen to the song for free.

Update on Wernigerode

I found out why the city calls itself "die bunte Stadt am Harz." Apparently, the title was coined by the German poet Hermann Loens, who used to travel the Harz mountains. So much for that.

Even More Exciting News!

Mirko got accepted at the FH Harz. We haven't heard from the University of Lueneburg yet, so at this point it looks like we will move to Wernigerode. I hope the city is not as boring as its moto: "Die bunte Stadt am Harz" (the colorful town?). Please, tell me, what the **** is a colorful town? Maybe you can figure it out and explain it to me.

Exciting News!

Saturday was my lucky (bowling) day! Yep, I did it! 'brought home the bacon! 'won hands down! 'nailed it! To put it in a nutshell, I made 198 points!!! Praise me! Love me! That's more than ever! I hit 3 strikes in a row, which is apparently called a "turkey." By the way, that's me in the photo. Sorry for the poor quality but it's hard to shoot a decent photo in black light. At least my shirt glows.
